Here are some of my favourite images collected over road trips mainly around Scotland for this selection. A few from  France and Italy. Some of these were in my exhibition ‘Finding roots in water’, 2022, and some belong to the collection of images part of the series for ‘Earth’, 2024.

Some to me are expression of early developmental history and how subconsciously something inside us, points the way to tell us our own story from a very long time ago, in its own way. We notice. And then we notice what we notice. I noticed the images I took during my years of studying pre and perinatal imprints and immersing myself in the somatic world of our own history before we are born, have certainly a lovely thread about them.

It all started with one question during an extremely difficult period of life. The question I asked myself was:’What is it, in all of this, that feels good?’ – The answer was the seaweed in the Home page and taking that photo.
